7 Weeks Pictures

Almost 7 weeks we now have personality. We may not make a lot of noise but we can sure get around. Notice how the wavy hair changes the puppy looks.

Tamara has to decide between Ruby's Randi and me in a week or so. There is a chance I will be available it depends on our DNA test results.

6 Week Pictures

Almost 6 weeks we now have personality. We have Ruby's little girl in with Blondie's and they are all a joy. They know how to bark but do not overdue it. There is a striking difference in Harley's puppies and our wire line. I know I say it a lot but Harley has a sweet disposition and no bad habits. The ONLY thing he does wrong is to pull towels down off the racks. He doesn't hurt them or even play with them later. He just can't stand to see a towel dangling. It is mostly just cute. We have to shorten all the dish towels by double folding them or he will pull them off the towel bars. These little pups are mellow and that is a real joy to us. They love attention but do not howl to get it nor do they bark very often. Chipper's litter was the opposite. They were very VOCAL and it was hard to keep the noise level down in the house. Each puppy is always different than all others but Harley fathers wonderful puppies.

As I mentioned on Ruby's page, everything got a yellowish tint this week. It is overcast here and I assume that is the reason. Sometimes I get a little red other times it is yellow. That is why I vay the background colors. I try to give you the best overall picture of each puppy I can.

Ok, if he is Elvis I must me Ricky Nelson!! Except I'm no 'Poor Little Fool". Lookin' for my "Bee Bob Baby", well Hello Maryloo. Skip combed my hair but I have nice little curl right on the top of my head. I am just too cool!!

Shalimar really is the princess. I am sooo easy to photograph. I don't let a little yellow tint spoil things. I am just too pretty.

5 Week Pictures

Almost 5 weeks old and cuter every day. These puppies are so great. This is what makes breeding fun. I LOVE the long hairs. Roberta's specialty is the wires and I love them too but to me there is nothing like a long haired miniature Dachshund. Having said that, Harley sleeps curled up next to Roberta all night and Buddy and Whiskers and right on top of me. Even Chewy favors my side of the bed (all 3 are wires). I love Harley even if he is a traitor.

It is comical how Harley puppies all have a serious look as little tykes. At least teh black and creams do. I think it is the coloring. Little BANDITS!! This changes completely as their noses strech out into maturing dogs. But it is cute to watch.

I am going to have perfect (blush) coloring, just like mommy. My ears will continue to get longer and only have black wavy hair on the ends. I am sooo easy to photograph.

Now I am an exporer too. I am sooo pretty. Ruby's little girl is lighteneing up and giving me a run for the money but I am still the most BEE U T FULL of all!!

Tamara is watching me closely and my half sister in Ruby's litter. Both of these girls are wonderful. It will be a hard decision for Tamara. Time will tell but the coloring on this little girl is extraordinary, just like Harley. Sooo much bright cream.

4 Week Pictures

I must be getting better at photography or these puppies keep getting prettier!! I hated to throw away some that I took. Not quite four weeks old. This litter is a WOW litter. Bright creams and great conformation (just puppies but so far). They have Harley's temperament and both parents good looks.

I am pretty nice looking myself. No red this week. My hair was messed up a little on the top and Skip didn't catch it. I am also bright cream. I struggled getting born and broke my tail. You can't tell by looking at it but you can feel a little bump at the base. It doesn't hurt my looks in any way but might cost me points in show if a judge felt it. I will be sold as pet only and be about $300 less then my brother. I will be a wonderful bargain for someone.

Hi my name is Shalimar!! Sounds like a good name for a Princess. I am so pretty and photogenic Skip had trouble figuring out which pictures to use. Good thing I am not a candy bar, I think he would gobble me up.

We need two more of these little girls, one for Karin and one for Tamara. Boy would I take clones of this little girl!! It is going to be up to Angelique and BooBoo to come through. I know Ruffy and Harley will do their part.

No red this week. What do you thik Tamara, I don't think I can do any better than this. This whole litter is as good as it gets. I just need to get you a little girl like the one above from BooBoo.

3 Week Pictures

Not quite three weeks and we have our eyes open. We can seeeeee you!!!

Look at ME., nawww, I'll look at YOU!! I picked up a little red from the camera but Boy am I CREAM!! Faster then the camera too!!!

I look pretty serious here. lol. I too am faster than the camera. Sorry about the red. I am also bright cream.

I am going to be soooo pretty. I am going to look as pretty as my mommy (and maybe just a little prettier - did I say that?) . Alert and paying attention already. I am going to make Valerie sooo happy.

Just opening my eyes. Where did all that red tint come from this week? My points are so white I flash back light. Next week Skip will do better on the pictures.

2 Week Pictures

Not quite two weeks yet they don't have their eyes open but they should by next pictures.

Unusual for a shaded English Cream, I am already pretty light. I will probably look just like my mommy Blondie and she is sooo pretty. I will likely end up with just a touch of shading on my ears. Watch my ears grow over the next 2 months. I am going to live with my Aunt (by adoption) Valerie and that is a VERY nice thing.

Get a lod of my CREAM POINTS. Now that is cream and I am not even two weeks old yet. I am going to look just like my dad Harley. I am so PROUD. Harley has that strunning bright cream on black and he is a doll.

Blondie and Harley Newborn

Blondie is such a GOOD mom. She not only has beautiful puppies, she takes good care of them and delivers without issue.
We did not expect any black and creams because we didn't know Blondie carried for Black. She produced all Shaded Creams when bred to Preston
and we know he carried for Black. We were pleasantly surprised. We always like a mix.

Shown here as 8-12 week puppies to give you an idea what your puppy might look like about the age you bring it home. You can learn more about either parent on their own page and also see them in action in the slide flash show.

I don't need to tell you how beautiful Blondie is. Just check out those ears!!! And I can tell you she has the personality to match. We are very excited about this pairing and plan to keep at least one female for our breeding program. Preston is from the prestigious "Ralines" line which began the whole English Cream line of Champions. These puppies will be EXTRAORDINARY. We expect some show quality English Creams and some exceptional red/creams. This will be a "pricey" litter but worth it if you are looking for a high quality English Cream line puppy.

You hear a lot about temperament but until you EXPERIENCE the differences you can not appreciate them. Harley is the original "mellow fellow". He is sweet and never fights with others. Even as a little tyke, NOTHING fazed him. If the other puppies growled at him he simply ignored them. He was not intimidated; it was as though it was beneath him to bother to reply. You could hold him in your lap and pet him or watch TV and he would stay still. Yet he can play fetch with the best of them.

Blondie and Chewy vie for favorite female with Roberta. Since she picks who sleeps on the bed with us at night it is 80% Chewy, Blondie and Whiskers. Blondie is sweet and active yet she knows how to settle down when it is time to go to sleep. She simply has no personality flaws at all, unless you count licking my face at 4:30 sharp every morning when it is time to get up. She and Preston each have a coat that is softer than a puppy's.

There are no guarantees and individual puppies can vary greatly but we expect their puppies to be MATURE. By MATURE I mean they will hold still to let children pet them and behave well very early. Many puppies are so active and silly they can not be much company for a year or longer. Even mature puppies have abundant energy and can play and fetch, etc. it is just that they will calm down and hold still. Active puppies are almost always in motion. These two dogs also compliment each other physically. Blondie is light and petite. Harley is an almost perfect specimen.

We try very hard to give each owner a realistic expectation of the puppy they adopt. We do not have any mean or ill tempered dogs. We will not tolerate a trouble maker and certainly will not include it in our breeding program, no matter what the pedigree. Some bad or aggressive behavior is learned and some inherited, we try to start you with the best temperament possible to give you that head start.
