12 Week Pictures

12 Week Pictures. This is Blondie's last litter so we are keeping two of her puppies for our breeding program.

Blyss, the only girl. She is going to look like momma, except for the little bit of black on Blondie's ears. Blyss is ee which blocks all black hair completely. Blyss is reserved for DASHaHOUND'S breeding program.

4 Week Pictures

4 Week Pictures. All are healthy and doing fine. We are now climbing out of our box and getting into mischief! Watch as we lighten and the shaded creams start to lighten just like the ee creams. This is Blondie's last litter so we are keeping two of her puppies for our breeding program.

Blais the shaded cream, he will lighten to look the same as his siblings as his black puppy hair falls out. I will be handsome like my daddy Ruffy. I am available.

Newborn

Blondie whelped a 3 puppy litter 09/14/2011. This is a beautiful litter. 2 girl and 2 boys. 1 shaded cream boy and 2 ee creams, 1 boy and 1 girl.

We are keeping the two ee creams Blyss and Blain for our breeding program and the little shaded cream boy is available.

It is so fun to watch the shaded creams develop. Right now Blais looks dark, almost black. The two ee's only look light because of the ee gene which blocks all black hair. Blais's black hair is puppy hair and will fall out. He will be as light as the other two except for a little black hair (called shading) on his ears and maybe on his tail. Look at Blondie. She only has a touch on the tips of her ears and she was born as dark as Blais. Booboo is an ee with no black hair and you can't tell her from Blondie unless you can see Blondie's ears. Candy has some shading on her ears and tail. That is how I can tell it is Candy and not Blondie or Booboo. :-)

I don't need to tell you how beautiful Blondie is. Just check out those ears!!! And I can tell you she has the personality to match. We are very excited about this pairing and plan to keep at least one female for our breeding program. Ruffy is from the prestigious "Ralines" line which began the whole English Cream line of Champions. These puppies will be EXTRAORDINARY. We expect some show quality English Creams and some exceptional red/creams. This will be a "pricey" litter but worth it if you are looking for a high quality English Cream line puppy.

You hear a lot about temperament but until you EXPERIENCE the differences you can not appreciate them. Ruffy is high energy but his daddy (Preston) was a mellow fellow.

Blondie and Chewy vie for favorite female with Roberta. Since she picks who sleeps on the bed with us at night it is 80% Chewy, Blondie and Whiskers. Blondie is sweet and active yet she knows how to settle down when it is time to go to sleep. She simply has no personality flaws at all, unless you count licking my face at 4:30 sharp every morning when it is time to get up. She and Preston each have a coat that is softer than a puppy's.

There are no guarantees and individual puppies can vary greatly but we expect their puppies to be MATURE. By MATURE I mean they will hold still to let children pet them and behave well very early. Many puppies are so active and silly they can not be much company for a year or longer. Even mature puppies have abundant energy and can play and fetch, etc. it is just that they will calm down and hold still. Active puppies are almost always in motion. These two dogs also compliment each other physically. Blondie is light and petite. Ruffy is husky and solid.

We try very hard to give each owner a realistic expectation of the puppy they adopt. We do not have any mean or ill tempered dogs. We will not tolerate a trouble maker and certainly will not include it in our breeding program, no matter what the pedigree. Some bad or aggressive behavior is learned and some inherited, we try to start you with the best temperament possible to give you that head start.
