We have several friends who are breeders and many of them have specialties. We don't list all of our friends for a variety of reasons. Some don't DNA health test, some very rarely have litters, some do not want a lot of exposure and are mostly show breeders, etc. Some just don't operate the way we do and are not really compatible as referrals. It is not a reflection on them. You can always contact us for specific referrals for specific reasons like coat choice and so forth.
The following breeder is recommended without reservation. If they are closer to you, or have a litter you like, or parents you like, you can not go wrong with chosing Adrian and Tim Trobridge. Trobridge operates very similarly to DASHaHOUND. They DNA test and publish all the results. They believe in complete disclosure which is not common with breeders. It is easy to publish good results but a natural tendency to downplay negative test results. The fact is ALL breeders have imperfect dogs. Dogs, like people, suffer from a variety of health challenges. It is not which breeder has defective dogs, we all do, it is what the breeder does to improve and deal with those imperfections and how openly they will discuss them with you and how well will they stand behind you should a problem arise that matters. They also take litter reservations and will work hard to get you the puppy you want.
