Candy and Ruffy Litter projected for mid November 2009
Candy and Ruffy Litter (Planned). While this is not one of our strongest pairings by pedigree, Ruffy is a Ralines Sire line with a total of 17 champions in his 6 generation pedigree. Ruffy is better then Preston, his father. Both of these dogs were chosen for their own looks. Candy comes from a line which has never been shown. She has the right stuff and is totally beautiful. She does have one champion way back in her pedigree. So the litter boasts 18 Champions. She is a rare English Cream Dapple. This litter will be sold as Pet/Companion only (see above). PEDIGREE

Candy and ruffy are very different in temperament. Candy is sweet and pasive, Ruffy is all boy. Candy was going to rule the other puppies until she got in with some older puppies. Then she held her own but could not have her way. Ruffy can hold his own with anyone and is nice to the girls and younger males but is competitive with Harley. Both of these pups are loving and have no bad habits. Candy would be classified as Mature and Ruffy as Active.
There are no guarantees and individual puppies can vary greatly but we expect their puppies to be a mix of ACTIVE and MATURE. By MATURE I mean they will hold still to let children pet them and behave well very early. Many puppies are so active and silly they can not be much company for a year or longer. Active puppies are good for young children because they wear each other out but are harder to deal with for the first year. Even mature puppies have abundant energy and can play and fetch, etc. it is just that they will calm down and hold still. Active puppies are almost always in motion. Neither of these puppies were hyper active or lethargic as puppies. Both were (are) mild mannered, full of life but able to settle down, not silly.
We try very hard to give each owner a realistic expectation of the puppy they adopt. We do not have any mean or ill tempered dogs. We will not tolerate a trouble maker and certainly will not include it in our breeding program, no matter what the pedigree. Some bad or aggressive behavior is learned and some inherited, we try to start you with the best temperament possible to give you that head start.
